Tony Wenzel

Co-Founder & CEO, Excipio · Author, The Enterprise Token Economy

Tony Wenzel is Co-Founder and CEO of Excipio and the author of The Enterprise Token Economy. He has spent more than 20 years building high-performance enterprise sales and go-to-market organizations across AI infrastructure, FinOps, PaaS, and SaaS.

As SVP Sales at STRATACACHE, Tony built AT&T's billion-dollar white-label channel from greenfield and closed major banking and QSR enterprise accounts. He was CRO at AgilePoint and is a three-time founder, including Brandometry, a NYSE Arca ETF. He holds an MBA in Finance from Notre Dame de Namur University in Silicon Valley, CA, and professional certifications spanning AWS Solutions Architect, AI/ML, FinOps, and MIT Design Thinking.

At Excipio, Tony leads the company applying his co-founders’ five-generation, carrier-class C++ intercept-cache-redirect lineage — Nortel → Cisco → Juniper → SuperLumin Networks → STRATACACHE → Excipio — to the enterprise AI agent token economy. Excipio is a private memory layer that sits between enterprise AI agents and the large language models they call, giving regulated enterprises a governed, sovereign memory they own.

Through The Enterprise Token Economy, Tony defines the frameworks behind the category — including the Rediscovery Tax, the Disclosure Tax, Token Yield, Firm Sovereignty, and Governance by Architecture.
